IN•TEC: The Long Lasting Solution

In the past years the traditional repair of old leaking drain pipes was involving major masonry works, installation of scaffolds, occupation of public pavements, production of noise and dust originating uneasiness for the inhabitants of the buildings and high costs of the repair operations.

Too often the repairs were causing more damage than the leaking itself.

The innovative IN•TEC drain pipes relining system has been developed to be first of all environment friendly because is avoiding annoying noises, dust, scraps of old mortar, plaster and wall papers ruined and facades totally disfigured. The timing of the application of the IN•TEC relining process in a vertical pluvial drain pipe of 20/30 meters length is in average one day without causing any disturbance to the inhabitants of the buildings because IN•TEC team works either from the roof or from the basement.

The "Legionary disease", a lung infection caused by "Legionella Pneumophila" has emphasized how much the quality of the air conditioned can be dangerous. This new pathological phenomenology has stressed not only the need of a constant control of the air conditioned quality but even the danger of new and/or dangerous lung infections caused by bacteria and fungi which find an easy habitat within the ducts and are blown out into the closed premises.

IN•TEC has developed and patented an innovative system of long lasting antibacterial sanitization finalised to the complete elimination of the polluting agents which have colonized on the inner walls of the air conditioning ducts and to avoid their colonization for at least 10 years.

Furthermore it is well known that many pathologies of the respiratory apparatus (asthma, allergy to the dust and other more dangerous diseases) are often caused by dust and humidity present on curtains, moquette, arm chairs and air-conditioning systems with poor maintenance.

Evidently a correct maintenance of the air conditioning systems guarantees a great reduction of the polluting elements in the closed premises with forced ventilation.

"GFK-EURISKO has made a research on a sample of students and of the tertiary workers and it has certified that 95% of the working and studying premises have been considered source of dangers for allergic people.

Particularly noteworthy the fact that around half of them complain that the company where they are employed does not adopt the measures of the basic prevention for allergies like the correct maintenance of the air conditioning plants" (Ansa)
